Water Quality

Every year we do various water quality tests to monitor the health of Long Pond.

E.coli Bacteria

The measurements given here are colonies per 100 mL. A rating of 0 is considered “drinkable” (although we don’t recommend that!). A rating of 195 is considered “okay for swimming.” High readings can be caused by many factors, including heavy rainfall.
